HISTORY

With a vision to present before the world our traditionally rich Assamese cuisines, as well as long lost exotic dishes of NorthEast India, my father Late Nirod Deka (Niren) came up withthe first ever ethnic restaurant of Assam, the Khorikaa.

Started in the year 2007 with just 50 covers and 10 staff, Khorikaa is a revolution in the field of Assamese culinary with now a 108 covers and more than 25 employees, all working with the sole purpose of providing the relish to the people. And it is this people's love for traditional Assamese delicacies along with our constant effort in satisfying the taste buds of the people that has made Khorikaa to reach the milestone of the most trusted and loved traditional restaurant in the region. Starting with a turnover of Rs. 30 Lakhs, Khorikaa is now the most prominent traditional eatery with a yearly turnover of over Rs. 90 Lakhs. This dream of my father has now taken the embodiment of every Assamese food lover's destination and attracts connoisseur from across the Globe.
